1. Booking Confirmation:
To secure your safari or tour with Smiles of Africa Adventure, a booking confirmation is required. This is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit payment as outlined below.

2. Deposit Policy:
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of your safari. If booking within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

3. Payment Methods:
We accept the following payment methods:

  • Bank transfers (all related transfer fees to be covered by the client)

  • Credit/Debit cards (additional charges may apply)

  • Mobile money services (where applicable)

  • Online payment platforms as specified on our website

4. Payment Confirmation:
Once payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent to you along with an official receipt and a detailed itinerary of your tour.

5. Cancellation Policy:
In case of cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit

  • 30-59 days before departure: 50% of the total cost

  • 15-29 days before departure: 75% of the total cost

  • Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total cost (no refund)

6. Amendments and Changes:
Requests to amend or change bookings must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability and potential additional costs.

7. No-Show Policy:
Failure to arrive for your scheduled tour without prior notice will result in the full forfeiture of your payment.

8. Refund Policy:
Refunds will only be issued according to the cancellation terms mentioned above. Processing of refunds may take up to 30 business days.

9. Travel Insurance:
We strongly advise all clients to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, cancellations, lost baggage, and other unforeseen circumstances.

10. Liability:
Smiles of Africa Adventure is not responsible for any delays, losses, injuries, or damages caused by third-party service providers or unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

11. Force Majeure:
In the event of force majeure (e.g., pandemics, natural disasters, political instability), Smiles of Africa Adventure reserves the right to reschedule or offer alternative options without obligation for refunds.

12. Governing Law:
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania.
